About

One of Soundgarden’s earliest songs to achieve mainstream success, “Outshined” was the band’s first to appear on the US Rock chart back in early 1992. Chris Cornell wrote it about his mood swings, switching between “extreme self-confidence” and “plummeting in the opposite direction”.
