What do you picture when you hear the song?
To me this song is really powerful and bawsy! In my head it’s just me facing everything and everyone with no fear. Not caring about what anyone would think or do, consequences or stuff that I would normally care about! I always like to do what I want and say what I feel, but in “real life” I’m on th...
What was your favorite part about recording the song?
I think the best part had to be that it was made with two of my favorite people and just how singing it made me feel. In general I love to make songs that are powerful and strong, but I love how bad ass this one is! I also had a cold while recording it, and that just made the lil raspy voice I have...
How did the song come together?
All of my songs I feel like come together in a different way. This song in particular came together when we were in the studio and we were just vibing on different beats they had made and we finally landed on this one!
What inspired it?
The inspiration behind this track is taking back your place and being bossy, or telling it like it is! I always say what’s on my mind and that’s something that i hold near and dear to my heart.
What was the process of making the song like?
SO MUCH FUN!!! I love doing different tracks even if I make songs that I know won’t end up being mine or feel correct for my sound. I really appreaciate and enjoy the process of wiritng and testing out different moods, vibes and feelings in songs to really see where I feel most comfortable, but also...
