[Verse 1]
I can see you in the dark
Like a light shining back at me
I.O.U. on my heart
Lost for words, you know I cannot speak
[Pre-Chorus]
Until you're here again, no, I'm not listening
To anybody and what they're gonna say
'Til you're back to me, tell me can you see?
[Chorus]
One touch is all it takes, one touch and I'm coming back to you
History we can't erase, one touch, say we'll make it through
Hold me through the rain, time and time again
When you're lonely, know I will be here for
One touch, one touch, one touch
[Verse 2]
Had a vision you were here (you were here)
Had a dream you were sleeping by my side
When I woke up, you'd disappeared
Say we'll keep trying, say you're not scared to fight
[Pre-Chorus]
Until you're here again, no, I'm not listening
To anybody and what they're gonna say
'Til you're back to me, tell me can you see?
[Chorus]
One touch is all it takes, one touch and I'm coming back to you
History we can't erase, one touch, say we'll make it through
Hold me through the rain, time and time again
When you're lonely, know I will be here for
One touch, one touch, one touch
[Bridge]
I don't want nobody's love if it's not you, if it's not you
I don't want nobody to kiss if it's not you, if it's not you
I don't want nobody to hold if it's not you, if it's not you
I don't want nobody to touch if it's not you, if it's not you
One touch, one touch, one touch (I need one touch)
One touch, one touch, one touch (I need one touch)
[Chorus]
One touch is all it takes, one touch and I'm coming back to you
History we can't erase, one touch, say we'll make it through
Hold me through the rain, time and time again
When you're lonely, know I will be here for
For one touch, one touch, one touch
One touch, one touch, one touch (It's all I need, babe)
One touch, one touch, one touch (It's all I need)
One touch, one touch, one touch (It's all I need)
One Touch was written by Neil Treppas & Laura White & Chrizmatic.
One Touch was produced by Julian Gingell & Barry Stone.
As soon as I heard the demo, I thought of Anastasia—it has that more rocky vibe to it. But then the production has a real nod to that ’90s pop sound, which I enjoy. What we did in the ’90s was so specific to that time, those big melodic bangers, that we really had to think about how to deliver Steps...
