One Night Only

[Verse 1: Cruger]
It's the night of the full moon, and I know I'll be a werewolf soon
I start to feel hungry, my gums bleed as I develop a new set of jagged front teeth
Rotten and unclean, see my face re-arrange
Voice alters as I scream in pain "Keep away!"
My nose looks more like a snout
And [?] as I feel my whole mouth push outwards
Eyes sting as I'm shutting them
Then everything's in black and white when they open up again
No one can stop me - a bloodhound, [?] all over my body, feels worse than being blocked out
Drop to the floor, I can no longer walk; not no more, not unless it's on all fours
Clothes rip like they don't fit, scarred for life, lose half my mind, grow twice as large in size
Fingernails transform to claws and keep growing till they look more like horns
By this point I'm as hairy as a primate, pupils dilate, the color of my eyes change-
Green, and I'm foaming at the mouth, leap out the window; I'm going into town
So be careful, I'm a werewolf

Take a leap out of the trees, from the forest green; now I've reached the cobbled streets
Honestly, stay away from the beast and keep your properties underneath lock and key
I howl as the moon beams onto me
And when it glimmers off my teeth, I hear somebody scream
For a second my heart stops to beat
And I get an increase in temperature of my body heat
Rabid, thirsty for blood
It's not cannibalistic, it's animal instincts - this person's my lunch
I tell him to run, but it's a dead end

Get set, teeth shred legs, bloodshed - chest, neck, head, then DEATH!

Blood drips from my fangs on my hands as I reflect on what I just did
If I see in black and white, it must mean this is a dream
But then again, I'm pretty sure that I didn't sleep
Even my brain's pumping dimethyltryptamine
No, this could be the start of my first killing spree
I attract a crowd; villagers gather 'round, bearing weapons and the town's square's now a battleground

And just as my teeth were scraping a leg - I'm hit
And a silver bullet penetrates through my flesh
My body shuts down as I struggle taking in breaths
My eyes close, I realize I'm facing the end
They took me back to the woods, where I was placed in my bed
And made an oath to never bring my name up again
But they made a mistake when they laid me to rest
