It's chaotic up there, so I'm lazy to cope the storm
Million ideas to sift through so one never takes form
Been stuck inside the prison of what could be
But I play it off light through the prism of security
There's a forest full of me, with my hopes and dreams
But will I make a sound if I'm never even seen?
Nah, it's all my head
Through example, I try to lead
But imposter syndrome's back again, choking on me
Struggle with the balance 'tween confidence and humility, an introvert's fee
Born free on the shoulders of my ancestry
The stakes are raising higher to succeed
I'm not a slave, never have, never will to society
But at twenty-seven, I've yet to master my own mentality
Until then, the cycle will proceed
