Well once again I find myself a captive
Held fast by my fear and insecurity
Locked up tight inside a crushing darkness
Afraid to face my vulnerability
Too long I’ve looked for the quick escape
Someway that I could circumvent the pain
But now I see that’s not a possibility
That route can only lead me here again
