I thought I could erase you
I took up meditation
Read thirteen books about it
Now they’re on my coffee table

Deep breaths seem pretty shallow
And I got you in my marrow
So good at seeming grounded
I got it pretty bad though

Meeting somebody else
Mixed with the thought of you saying hello
Lately I’m thinking that you ought to know
