I dreamt, I dwelt in a homeless place
Where I was lost, alone
Folks looked right through me
Off into space
And passed with eyes of stone

Oh, homeless head on a many a street
Please accept this change from me
A friendly smile or a word is sweet
As fearless charity

So working class who hears he cry
But cannot spare a dime
No look into a homeless eye
Afraid to give the time

So rich, so poor
No gold to talk
No smile upon your face
The homelеss one where wе all walk
Receive amazing grace
