Yeah, I did it, but at what cost and what payment?
Honestly I feel my heart ripping it's been hard lately
I been at the bottom writing till my fingers off
Feelin’ like I did it all but I ain't really did enough
And, what is right or wrong if your tryna right your wrongs
Setting all the pages on fire that I'm typin’ on
But my lights is on and the foods on table
And I got a couple lovers
So I guess I'm really to able to shine
But, I don't fit in elsewhere
What's the point of winning, if you did it on your own?
I'm tryna share it and then cherish the people that I know
But, I know that I'm far from where I need to be
But, my voice in my head tell me "Don't go far"
Writing on my own, while I'm waiting in my car
I don’t really listen to the people in my ear
’Cause I did it on my own and I made it to here
But, maybe I'm wrong man, maybe I’m right?
Maybe that I'm fighting for nothing in my life, and
Maybe this the right direction or maybe I am wrong?
But I'll find out soon when I do it on my own
