My Last Moving Day

I've been trav'ling for Jesus
So much of my time
I've trav'led on land and on sea
But I'm counting on taking a trip to the sky
That will be the last moving for me

I seen wonderful sights
Since I trav'led afar
How little they all will seem
When I move to the sky that city of gold
And behold what a vision could dream

When I move to the sky up in heaven so high
What a wonderful trip that will be
I'm a-ready to go washed in cavalries white snow
That'll be the last moving for me

The province of home I will meet over there
And those teachings havе guided me right
I will meet the apostlеs and Jesus my Lord
I believe I will know them at sight

Here I'm bothered with packin' each time that I move
And I carry a load in each hand
But I'll not need one thing that I'd used in this world
When I move to the heavenly land

Everything that I need will be furnished up there
Not even my song book of pray
And the precious little Bible that a-showed me the way
I won't need when I'll stand by my king

Here I'm constantly saying farethewell to my friend
And the partin' breaks heart (...)
But when moving day come then I'll take my last trip
We shall meet where we part nev'r again
