Found the bump on his nose, to the vet he goes
Didn't like the outcome of it, crushed me to bits
They said he might have cancer, we still don't have an answer
We find out later, he has kidney failure
Wearing a cone around his neck, just for him we paid an expensive cheque
He has to get shots, there's special food we bought
He has to eat that for the rest of his life, cuts me deeper than a knife
Back to that bump, it was cancerous. They had a solution for this. Removed the spot, still got shots
Those shots are vitamin B, it hurts him more than a flea
He's crying in the car, I tell him we're not far
One year is seven years for cats after all
He doesn't even want to play with his ball
This pain is real, he has to eat the same meal
I hope he'll be okay. Without Oliver, my world would be gray
