Things are looking thirteen again
The colours and the textures

It was all seventeen, last year
Started rewearing old sweaters

Back in rotation
Adopting more of myself
There are so many versions
That I’ve over-worn out

At some point it gets tired
At some point they get old
Staring straight through the mirror
Till I let it grow mold

My body’s shifting anew again
An old familiar different
Really hoping this one will stick
But they all turn right before, almost fitting

Widen holes in my socks
Pay the cost, force the sell

Deeper than self loathing
Hard to paint it quite right
