Misunderstood

I am used to always giving
Every part of me to him
Sometimes it feels like I'm living
The same day over again

But why doesn’t he notice
Why doesn’t he seem to care
Pulling all of myself to focus
Just so he knows I am there

Why is it that when we have conflict
We go from perfect to a mess
He says that I’m the one who’s worth it
But he can’t handle all the stress

But why doesn’t he show me
Why doesn’t he match his words
He starts pulling away slowly
My emotions go unheard
