VERSE 1:
He tried to tell 'em but they could never understand
They never comprehended the problem that's at hand
As a young man divorced by mom and dad
Tossed aside isolated like a son they never had
You can imagine how it was
Gettin beat up by his own brother toughened him up
Felt he was shit out of luck
Livin this way was no good
He tried to brush it aside but gained a foul look
Boy became a outlook for the neighborhood crooks
Only fifteen and knew the game like a text book
And as you know only trouble would follow up
Seventeen he quit school no thoughts of finishing up
Mom was bitching and such asking 'em what made him choose this path
Only answer he could give was his neglect in the past
She started crying trying to make it good
But young junior just told her mom... look..
Verse 2:
His father struck him hard as he was kneeling on the floor
Junior busted into tears and started cursing up a storm
Warning that he would run away
And not to push him off the edge cuz if they did he'd retaliate with a throw away
A gat he had put away in the closet
By now his bloods boiling like a pot of boiling crawfish
His older brother just sitting there and he watching
He tells young junior he wasn't blood and he's adopted
And that just set it off for junior
Misunderstood good at heart but now it's looking like a dark future
So he stood up and ran for his room
Barricaded the door with a half broken broom
Grabbed his pistol and hammered in the clip
Cocked it back ran back out and let that hot steel rip
And now you see the blood drip boy was misunderstood and just couldn't get a grip
