How did the song come together?
I just go to the studio and put a beat on. If I like it I’ll record to it. Capi sent me the beat and I loved it so I recorded it and sent to the label. They loved it and we put it on the project.
What inspired it?
Honestly I think I just realized how much I love where I’m from, specifically Naples. I took acid at the end of the session and cried listening to it. I basically freestyled it. I just be humming in the booth and adding words to it. I mumbled the first two bars then said “Misses Florida”
