This song was originally intended for the scrapped album Back to Saturn X in 1992, and then considered for the early Propeller tracklist The Corpse-Like Sleep of Stupidity. It was also one of four songs considered for a Back to Saturn X EP in 1992, also later scrapped.
[Intro]
Oh, good
Damn good Mr. Jam
[Verse 1]
Melted Pat knows where she's at
She's copping a buzz on something that was
Melted Pat thinks that it's good
And maybe she should, 'cause it's always good
[Chorus]
She's knocking around
She's always up to knocking around
She's always up to knocking around
She's knocking around, she's knocking around
[Verse 2]
Melted Pat, she's losing her care
She's losing her hair and now she's not there
Melted Pat, she's telling me that
I'm living a lie, I'm wearing a tie
[Chorus]
She's going away
She's always up to going away
She's always up to going away
She's going away, she's going away
Melted Pat was written by Robert Pollard.
Melted Pat was produced by Mike Hummel & Tobin Sprout.
