Originally, the feature on this song was meant for Brian Johnson from AC/DC but due to Johnson’s health issues, they opted for Gary Stringer of Reef as he had written most of the song.
Although Johnson couldn’t feature in the song, he used it on his TV show, A Life On The Road
[Verse 1]
I'm not going out baby I'm going all out
One become two becomes ten becomes fallout
No I don't even care if I end up in a jailhouse
And if we don't get what we want we gonna take it
And if we don't get what we want we gonna take it
[Chorus]
(Ey-oh, ey-oh) Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
(Ey-oh, ey-oh) Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
Put the pedal to the metal, put your foot on the floor
Them there kinda ting I cannot take it no more
(Ey-oh, ey-oh)
Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
[Verse 2]
Can't find my keys and I can't find my phone
I'm having too much fun and I'm not going home
Wherever you're going I'm going too
And if I'm going off the rails I'm gonna take you
All the way
[Chorus]
(Ey-oh, ey-oh) Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
(Ey-oh, ey-oh) Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
Put the pedal to the metal, put your foot on the floor
Them there kinda ting I cannot take it no more
(Ey-oh, ey-oh)
Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
[Bridge]
Start the machine
Start the machine
Start the machine
Start me up baby
Rock 'n' roll has saved my soul
Rock 'n' roll has saved my soul
Rock 'n' roll has saved my soul
Rock 'n' roll has saved my soul
Rock 'n' roll has saved my soul
Rock 'n' roll has saved my soul
Rock 'n' roll has saved my soul
Rock 'n' roll has saved me
[Chorus]
(Ey-oh, ey-oh) Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
(Ey-oh, ey-oh) Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
Put the pedal to the metal, put your foot on the floor
Them there kinda ting I cannot take it no more
(Ey-oh, ey-oh)
Yeah this is my scene
Turn the ignition, start the machine
