In the middle of the night
I was awoken with a fright
Saw a dancing little light above my bed
I'm paralyzed

And then my body starts to shake
I ask myself, "am I awake?"
Surely this must be a dream
As I float up to the ceiling

We're wandering
The night is long
And it's time for moving on
Careful where you don't belong
Or wandering the night, you'll be lost

Higher than I've ever been
Seeing what I've never seen
Far below the city lights
Sparkle like my starry eyes

The haunting choir starts to sing
Hold on to the silver string
It's the only way you'll find
Your way back to bed tonight
