How did the song come together?
I wrote this track in the middle of winter when I was feeling really down. I pretty much wrote and recorded it in one night in my studio apartment in Bushwick, BK
What inspired it?
I was having a rough couple months career-wise. What I kept coming back to that would make me feel better was my girlfriend… the idea that no matter what happened with music, I had this wonderful person who loves and cares about me.
What was the process of making the song like?
I recorded the guitar part into my apollo/ableton and just sorta put it on loop until the whole thing was written. This was one of those songs that the lyrics and vibe just sorta came out and wrote themselves.
