You casper ghosts
Your dust jackets
Creased sheets cold
Auburn wool pockets
Carve blossomed boats
Simple sandpaper
Cottered coats
And you became bones
And my brothers will burst into baskets of orange fruit

My mother will break bricks to weather her windows
