So narcissistic
I know that I'm guilty
Of flaking on plans that I've been orchestrating
At the crucial moment
I call off the shot
While searching for meaning, the moment is lost

Not so romantic
I tried but I'm failing
I keep making plans that I know that I'll be bailing
And maybe I'm tired
I just need some sleep
Unholy depression has its grip on me

Praying to Jesus, worshipping Satan
Help me destroy this monster I created
Swallowing Xanax and losing my mind
I've run out of comrades and places to hide

Give up on prayer
Give up on friendship
Succumb to the drug use
Locked in your basement
Whiskey and vodka and beer in the dark
Inject your poison right into my heart
