I lie on a rotten tree
I hope someone comes for me
I was riding a horse to the battle
I shoot to stars with my arrow
All my mistakes always come with a delay
All of the soldiers were torn to pieces
I'll leave 'em a note
A letter encoded in songs
A letter with things that I love
Traveling across the universe, is all a bunch of nothing?
Massive balls of energy, I don't even know their purpose
Is it just for the sake of it?
Is it just for the beauty of it?
Computer brain, machine of flesh
I believe this letter will not be read
Million years will pass on
The stars will collide, yeah
The planets will pass out
They'll never know about us
But one day the letter got to a planet where the faith was lost
Humanity was long gone
But maybe we gave them hope
