[Verse 1]
I saw, and I swear
An old man with a deadlock stare
And he said to me
"You're too old to be pretending"
[Chorus]
But you don't know me, I ain't got no legacy
And he said to me, "It's not too late to pick up the pieces"
Woo, woo
Yeah
Woo, woo
[Verse 2]
So I said that I smoke
And been known to drink my share
"You're young, and you're drunk"
He said with a stone-cold glare
[Chorus]
But you don't know me, I ain't got no legacy
And he said to me, "It's not too late to pick up the pieces"
Woo, woo
Yeah
Woo, woo
[Bridge]
You're walking in the shadows
Walking in the shadows of your fear
And you're headed for the gallows
Sin around your throat and no one's near
So before I leave, just know, just know
Oh, before I leave, just know, just know
Oh, before I leave, just know, just know
It's not too late to pick up the pieces
[Outro]
Woo, woo
Yeah
Woo, woo
It's not too late to pick up the pieces
I ain't got no legacy
Yeah
I ain't got no legacy
Now just breathe

That song’s about a night in Virginia Beach when I was drunk on the street with my friends, and an old man came up to us and started talking about life, the lyrics are basically me writing out everything I remember him saying.
An acoustic version had been made public three years prior to the release. It has now been deleted.
Fortunately, you can listen to it here.
