Just how much do they call me their friend?
If only they knew how being me has been
No one will think twice when I come outside
Although yesterday was the day I died

Every day I get to see death a-comin’ straight at me
But once I think I’m really dead, I wake up in my same old bed

They don’t remember that I died, and I die more a bit inside
