When two people love each other so much but keep on hurting each other in a destructive way, it’s very difficult to let go. This song is about someone refusing to walk away and give up and who rather live with being with someone constantly breaking their heart than to face the idea of losing them. T...
[Verse 1]
Oh, so this is how it is now
You're hot and then you're cold and then you turn away
You are my light in the darkness
Don't you burn out on me baby, I will lose my way
[Pre-Chorus]
All the signs told us "turn back"
We both tried to deny that
Now we're fighting
And it's getting harder, the further we go
[Chorus]
Are we two stones in a glass house?
Waiting to be thrown
Am I too dumb for trying
When the feeling's gone?
And I'm still hoping
We can fix it up
But you keep on breaking
My heart
[Verse 2]
But what more could I give now?
You know I gave you every single thing that I could lose
Tell me how do I live now?
Should've known there'd come a day that I'd be losing you
[Pre-Chorus]
All the signs told us "turn back"
We both tried to deny that
Now we're fighting
And it's getting harder, the further we go
[Chorus]
Are we two stones in a glass house?
Waiting to be thrown
Am I too dumb for trying
When the feelings gone?
And I'm still hoping
We can fix it up
But you keep on breaking
You just keep on breaking
Baby keep on breaking
My heart

This song was written after losing someone and so it becomes more emotional to perform as it is about still being inside a world that only exists in memory. Keep on Breaking My Heart is about wanting a person who has walked away from you forever, never to look back.
I worked on KOBMH in LA with Chris Stracey who is a genius and one of my favourite people to work with. I wanted to make a song which was really stripped down, raw and honest that felt like it was conversational and directed towards someone I love. I was listening to a lot of Prince demos at the tim...
