I met him in a dream

He seemed so sweet and dear

But in reality

His motives weren't so clear

Now I have tried for days

But I can't seem to find

The way I felt when he was

Now every time I'm with him

I keep wanting to return

To when he was a lesson

That I couldn't wait to learn

I don't know how to tell him

Without being unkind

I loved him more when he was
