Not in broad daylight, not inside the world's most famous museum
But in just four minutes
A team of thieves pulled off a heist that stunned France and indeed the whole world
They bypassed guards, they broke through layers of security
And they walked away with jewels once worn by queens and empresses
The Louvre is home to the Mona Lisa
It is a fortress of art and history
And it was breached like never before
Now investigators are racing against time, the thieves remain a step ahead and the world is left asking
