Jesus or Nothing (Excerpt)

The philosophy of nothing is known as nihilism. It is based on the latin word "nihil", which literally means nothing. Friedrich Nietzsche is considered by many to be the father of the philosophy of nothing. The father of nihilism. Nietzsche understood that a cosmos without god is a world without objective meaning. Many sceptics today however are run willing to take their worldview to this logical conclusion. Perhaps this is because history showes us that nihilism is unliveable. The philosophy of nothing can not give us a basis for purpose meaning with hope. And nothing is a worldview that accepts the earth as an end in it self.
