I gazed into the empty eyes of people walking down busy streets
Their minds confused, their lives abused trying to find reality

But it's Jesus that they need

Some live on greed some turn to speed
But it does not satisfy
All they too soon know, then they're story's told
Then they lay right down and die

Some get a gun and just for fun
They kill a man walkin' by
The crime is done and in the name of fun
An innocent man has to die

A young girl lifeless lies

A final time she got too high
