Always introspective
Unless I’m flexing
But mainly I’m just talking how I see from my perspective
Learning lessons, burning less now
Pour that liquor up, cause I be stressed now
Missing times I’m not sure that I’m missing people
I think we all fall in between good and evil
Except for her, that’s for sure
She fell for me, I was never pure
Or never was, can we change who we become?
Is there room for 2 if you are the chosen one?
I hold my tongue, except for in these raps
I open up, they play it back
I say I love you, she say it back
I say I love you but, she won’t call me back
Do we make our own fate?
I’d rather think that a higher power chose the way
Cause some decisions are, hard to not regret
I take a couple steps, but I’m scared to leap
I play a beat when there’s silence cause I’m there to eat
I think I’m scared of me, I think I’m scared of not getting like all that I’ve wanted
Too long getting blunted, I was bout to score then I fumbled and fell
Tried to get back up then I tumbled to hell
But I think I made it back, to where I should have been
So it all feels amazing but nothing like a win
2018 been the best one in years
But still all my accomplishments are outweighed by fears
Outweighed by instances that I could make differences
That might change my life path to roads wit no sinfulness
I think I’m overthinking, because to change the path
