Responding to the mysterious singing voice (voiced by Aurora) that only she can hear, Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) sings about her attempts to ignore the voice and how she nevertheless feels compelled to venture into territory that is mysterious to her.
The mysterious voice, piano, and strings bui...
[Intro: AURORA]
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah, oh
[Verse 1: Idina Menzel]
I can hear you, but I won't
Some look for trouble while others don't
There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day
And ignore your whispers, which I wish would go away, oh
[Refrain: Idina Menzel & AURORA]
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Oh-oh
Ah-ah, ah-ah
[Verse 2: Idina Menzel]
You're not a voice, you're just a ringing in my ear
And if I heard you, which I don't, I'm spoken for, I fear
Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls
I'm sorry, secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls
[Pre-Chorus: Idina Menzel]
I've had my adventure, I don't need something new
I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you
[Chorus: Idina Menzel]
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
[Refrain: AURORA]
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
[Verse 3: Idina Menzel]
What do you want? 'Cause you've been keeping me awake
Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake?
Or are you someone out there who's a little bit like me?
Who knows deep down I'm not where I'm meant to be?
[Pre-Chorus: Idina Menzel]
Every day's a little harder as I feel my power grow
Don't you know there's part of me that longs to go
[Chorus: Idina Menzel]
Into the unknown?
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
[Refrain: AURORA]
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
[Bridge: Idina Menzel, AURORA & Both]
Oh-oh-oh
Are you out there? Do you know me?
Can you feel me? Can you show me?
Ah-ah, ah-ah (Ah-ah, ah-ah)
Ah-ah, ah-ah (Ah-ah, ah-ah)
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
[Outro: Idina Menzel & AURORA]
Where are you going? Don't leave me alone
How do I follow you (Ah)
Into the unknown? (Oh, oh)

After 30 seconds of the song leaked on song-sharing sites on 28 September 2019, Walt Disney Records released a promotional video on September 30th, featuring roughly a minute of the song’s vocals:
I like the song [Into the Unknown] even better, to be honest, and then there’s another song at the end of Frozen [II] called ‘Show Yourself’ that I have that I think is beautiful. And I just, I really commend the Lopezes, because they come from story first. It wasn’t about trying to write another bi...
In the film, Elsa hears a strange sound coming from the north and feels like it is calling her. She is battling her thoughts in thinking she should either stay at home where people now accept her and her powers or follow the sound thinking it’s her destiny, even though it is unknown to her.
I am this voice calling Elsa out to follow her true purposes in her life. My character is not human at all; it’s more ancient than humankind and bigger than what people can become—except for Elsa. We did all the vocals for my character in this big room for the vocals to fly around many times before...

Yes, is there. There are several.
This one was created at the album’s release, acting as an official audio video.
A better one was made closer to the release of the film.
Finally, Disney has released a sing-along version that goes with the movie’s scene with the song.
