It won’t come back
The colour surges and breaks away
We’ve lost our purpose, is it too late?
It’s staining everything a grey that fades to black
Not what it’s meant to be, a shade of what we had
Stood in the dead of night and watched them steal the sun
What have we done?

I’m stuck inside a world that’s lost its vision
The truth lay at our feet but still we choose to blur our sight
