Sunlight shines past this winter storm
Throw away the tattered shoes i once wore

Is it too late to say hello again
Can we start over where it began

Did you know me too well
Or did i just not know enough
Stripped back this bark of now forgotten souls

Do i stand here and do nothing
Or do i barge in and cause my suffering
How do i fill these holes

Let's not end it here though
And don't keep it how it is
It all passes along
So there's nothing we can do
We're not all heroes
Each step we take will make us fall
Down the path of most forgotten
It all will end with time
