How did the song come together?
Miro Mackie and I started working on this song. I came up with the guitar riff and that ended up becoming the backbone of the production. Later, Georgia and I got together to write some lyrics. I really liked the duet style of the song “Young Folks” by Peter Bjorn & John and wanted to make somet...
What is the inspiration behind this track?
Georgia and I had just finished watching “Stranger Things” and got inspired to write some lyrics that would take you back to those middle school days.
What was the process of making the song like?
Making this song felt like an experiment. Typically, it’s always been me creating the songs in my bedroom at home. I wanted to see what would come out of being more collaborative. It was a good creative exercise.
