It’s always been easy to trust because I’ve had more than enough. But now, it’s really hard to believe because I’m in need, and I got kids to feed. I never had a problem having faith. Before every meal, I’d say: “Grace.” But now, there’s no food on the plates and I’m finding it really difficult to pray. I have to look at my kids and lie to their faces. Tell them: “Everything’s okay.” And when they go to sleep, I feel all of the weight, and I can finally let the tears run down my face. (Lex Nour.)

I was supposed to be a part of a team, but now I’m all alone and it’s holding me. And, if I’m honest, I don’t know how much more I can take before I break. I’m overwhelmed with anxiety. I’d like to give my kids nice gifts for birthdays. I’d love to take them on a nice vacay, but I got pills to pay. Honestly, most days, I feel like an utter disgrace. I’m feeling like I’m going to drown. Always running around, know I need to slow down. But, I feel like I’m one surprise expense away from a mental breakdown. Living a nightmare I can’t escape. Everywhere I turn, I’ve got another role to play. All the hysteria is making me blind. And little by little, I’m slowly losing my mind
