I Need To Be My Own Bus Driver

I saw a child this morning
standing on the corner, waiting
for the bus to come

He was spinning in circles
Constantly turning, twisting

I thought to myself maybe
this is all I was truly doing

Spinning myself in endless circles
Getting dizzy over and over again
Day after day

Waiting for something to come
pick me up and take me
to my destination.
