Your voice is like the deepest ocean
So rich with color that this language cannot name
You speak in shades of thunder
In storms and rain you have brought me low
With one word you can call the halcyon waters forth

Your face is radiant like an ancient star
It burns across the universe of my mind
I put my hands over my eyes, my prayers they make no sound
My knees pull me prostrate to the earth
I wait for the morning light like a watchman

Your presence it is like a whisper
It is here and then it hides away
I see the flaming skies, the summer fields in bloom
I see the beauty glimmer through the rocks before it fades
Back to the ground I am returning, I measure the days
