I been waiting for a while but I guess it's up to me
I been thinking for some time how to get things where I want
Don't know if you got it but at least you tried
You gave me all the solutions that I couldn't find
It made a difference when you were behind
I guess you know that I appreciate what you've done
I used to cry myself to sleep for ten years
But now I’m dry I guess I’m healed
