[Verse 1]
I see you there
Standing in the mirror staring back at me
Never knew it would come to this
I know your face
Like a photograph that I can't erase
I'm not letting you win again
[Pre-Chorus]
‘Cause all of my life
You told me that I'm not good enough
I'm not brave enough
All of this time
I've asked myself why
I'm so scared to let you go
I'm not scared anymore
[Chorus]
I never ever knew
If I could truly love you
But I, but I do
But I, but I do
I never ever knew
If I could just forgive you
But I, but I do
But I, but I
But I, but I do
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I do, do, do
[Verse 2]
I know we've been
Through a lot of things and it hurts you still
It's not over and done just yet
We're hiding still
From reality wondering who we'll be
When the dust settles after this
[Pre-Chorus]
‘Cause all of my life
I told you that you weren't good enough
Not brave enough
All of this time
I've asked myself why
I'm so scared to let you go
I'm not scared anymore
[Chorus]
I never ever knew
If I could truly love you
But I, but I do
But I, but I do
I never ever knew
If I could just forgive you
But I, but I do
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I
But I, but I do, do, do

We will be doing some remixes, trying with some radio style singles, reaching out to more people and exploring more musical ideas.
Calvin Harris, Eric Prydz or Justice, all producers with a very own signature sound. And also Dua Lipa and Rita Ora.
Most of the vocal and instrumentals were written separately and adjusted later on to fit together, after almost matching instantly via a spontaneous thing we tried in the studio. This gives the song a special synergy in our opinion. The instrumental idea was something that we had lying around for so...
We wanted to make a song that could work both as a nice vocal song-structured track as well as something that could work in a club or at a festival, but with a sonically intense experience. The lyrics for us have a deeper meaning, it’s about loving yourself through all the flaws and imperfections.
First Andreas Moss and Sean Cook wrote it in a crappy Airbnb in LA after being yelled at by his neighbor and then Zonderling found it and transformed it into what you hear today.
