I can’t sleep
I see the moon shining
This town so peacefully

And I can’t sleep
I see the street lights
While I think of a song to write

Hearing the sound of the clock
And the barking of a dog
The sound from the fridge
Thinking of a world I’m living in

And I can’t sleep

I’m thinking all about
My goals quietly aloud

There are tasks of mine
If I don’t complete, that’s fine

Coz at the end of the day
I realize it was different yesterday
As I lay in my bed
I get new ideas in my head
