Grandiose prose setting
The author, scribbled in a code poetic
Gave a leg so the songs prosthetic
And truth bled out to be clear that he meant it

Bellowing 'where did we go wrong?'
Getting swept from the peaceful tounge
Sweat seeps graft but the key won't turn
Tear in the lobes where the free thought burned

Never concrete
Watching where the wrongs reach
Hours pass monitoring midi building on screen

Till his eyes got droopy
And the sample sounded tired as the sun rose smoothly

Etching reality and routine
Banality and moonbeams
Stuck on the fence of esteem
Tryna memorise every step of the scheme

But he was still to passive
Footprints marked every phrase in the bracket
Dammit, glued to mistakes mismanaged
Controller of the universe till kicked out of the planet

Sailed west in hope after loss
Ashtray full still surprised by a cough
Chin on his fist and the elbow on rocks
As his wings grew drawn to the light like a moth

Cus they were flickering gently
Film hardly sobre, but the cinema empty
Till she stepped foot with a similar entry
And drove it to conclusion and a visual ending

Silent audience erupted
Critics applauded its substance
Looked like the author had finally sussed it
As hearts rained heavy and the thunder was blushing

Pure soul like a jazz composition
Grew a new backbone and sewed up his vision
The rhythm, pumping like a old steam piston
To understood his programme
