To not throw stones
But to be a rock
Between this hard place
A quandary I've got

Your hourglass frame
But you're elusive as the sand
And sharp as the broken
Pieces that hold

Feels opaque and blue

As you really don't seem
To reciprocate the efforts
And the space in between
Elusive lines in the sand
Hot to the touch
Never a clean break
That's asking too much
