[Verse 1]
Hang it up boys
Yesterdays and dreams and matinees
Like tinker toys they fell apart today
Well almost anyway Hoppy's gone
[Verse 2]
Bed em down boys
Put your cowboy boots and guns away
The broomstick horse just up and died today
And so did Saturdays Hoppy's gone
[Bridge]
Rock-a-bye yesterday
Winds blow and cradles will fall
And down comes the curtain
And all of a lifetime of memories live on
Hoppy's gone boys Hoppy's gone
[Verse 3]
Hang it up boys
Yesterdays and dreams and matinees
Like tinker toys they fell apart today
Best just let it lay Hoppy's gone
[Outro]
Rock-a-bye yesterday
Winds blow and cradles will fall
