I'm from the hood nigga, that don't make me a hood nigga
I don't bang my block, but I still wish you would nigga
I'd throw away my life 'for I'm punked by another nigga

I'm not a hood nigga
I'm what America would classify as a good nigga
Cause they love how I articulate my words like I'm different from everybody that I grew up, loved, and fucking lived with
We just do what we fucking know
I started skating, half the homies started off with selling Dro'
Who the hustlers, both
We just get it by any means, had I seen less options, I'd do the same damn thing

Cause I'm from the hood nigga
But I'm not a hood nigga
Cause I'm from the hood, shoot for my brother without a question
Not hood enough, cause I know that shit wouldn't get me anything
But more paranoia, and falsified pride, and the fact I'm a statistic and product of my environment
The fact that I have no right to take another man's life
But if you touch my fucking brother nigga I ain't gonna think twice
