Home? Prove It!

It´s one of these rare and seldom days:
I wake in my bed and all is sorted, taking a glimpse aside and watching the calming up and down of her slow breath;
I grab that coffee and a cigarette, join the family circle with a satisfying look upon my face...

Home! That´s where the heart is - that´s what people say, but mine is split in pieces that don´t know where to stay
The urge to settle down, didn´t hit me anyway...

Overthinking, recalculating from time to time, but isn´t it always the bad habit
Trying to see the brighter side of the sun setting before sometimes blinded eyes
In moments like this it´s hard to save that little boy who is always showing me the easy way out
