“Heaven’s Sake” is the intro track to Prophet’s debut demo project called “Demos Lost In The Attic”. The track starts the album with an intro skit, taking place at a later time, when Prophet enters his attic and finds his demo tape that he made a while ago.
[Intro Skit]
Damn, I haven't been in this attic in a minute
Yo wtf is this? Some old records or something?
"Demos Lost In The Attic", (laughs) I gotta hear this shit
[Verse]
Everyday I hear voices screaming "we want change"
It's kinda strange how these voices are afraid to arrange
A plan to exchange the life that we live now full of pain
For a life that contains red carpets and champagne
But first we gotta break through these chains
I'm done living so plain
We gotta break loose, we got nothing to lose, we can only gain
My plan to blow up and begin my reign might seem insane until I show you how much I can obtain
I got confidence, Fuck your compliments
Puttin' in work then I get on my bread like some condiments
Until my music is heard on all seven continents
I'm responsible for my accomplishments because I've written every vowel and consonant
I'm patiently waiting while contemplating a plan to begin creating tracks hotter than Satan
It's frustrating when people try debating over who's the hottest rapper stating what's on their mind
Because I combine the hottest lyrics with the heat of the sunshine
This shit is a test to see if I got what it takes
I got a lot on my plate, I know a lot is at stake
I'm telling all of these snakes "get the fuck out of my lake"
I never take breaks, I don't fuck with the fakes, I send them straight to Hell for Heaven's Sake
I hope you acquire a taste for the fire that's coming through your headphone wires
Until I retire, I'll inspire these minors to raise the bar higher
Prior to when I conspired a plan to take over this empire all of raps hottest flows had already expired
But I think it's kinda tragic how semi-automatics got kids hiding in the attics
Their pops disappeared like magic, they begin to panic
Because now their brother's starting static with a gang that wreaks nothing but havoc and moves hella bags of plastic
That's why I'm saying now is the time to take action
I'm dedicated to my passion because I love the satisfaction of embarrassing my peers with every line that you hear
Tell the game to have no fear because the Rap God is here
I can't stand it how every city's full of bandits, we all take our life for granted
I suggest you speak now before they ban it
I get on the mic and holler, just to try and earn a dollar
So that I can buy that Ralph Lauren shirt, just so I can pop the collar
Right now I'm dreaming about shit that I can't even afford
I remember when I used to just sit around the house bored
Then I noticed that I got a talent to write and record
Until the point that there's blood all over the keyboard
I put brothers over any other motherfucker, or some bitch that thinks I love her
I can't trust her so I spread out my bread like mustard
When my mind is full of clutter I utter these bars in an attempt to get out of this gutter
I wanna hear the bitches scream and the cameras shutter
How could you say the most sacred couldn't make it?
All that basic shit is just copy and pasted shit
Like your homie wrote it for you, that's the fakest shit
Just send me the same beat and watch me make it twice as lit
I got hella boxes in my closet, half of them are full of chronic from the tropics, Mama said that I should stop it
They say no to drugs, I change the topic, every bar I spit is logic
On a chase to fill the empty pocket, tryna fill the safe until I can't lock it
It ain't easy when the future starts to tease me and the realist start to leave me 'cause they wish that they could be me
They can't beat me, can't defeat me, record labels wanna meet me
Wanna put me on the TV just so everyone can see me
I've seen youngins come from nothin' all the sudden they start stuntin'
I ain't frontin' when I tell you I'm becoming something
All these phony rappers motivate me, I'm the greatest as of lately
How the fuck you gonna hate me?
The planet's full of snakes to I gotta keep it shady since the 80's Hip-Hop has been the speaker's finest
Your flow will never be the same temperature that mine is
I meant it when I said I was independent
I don't need a single person to defend it whenever I get offended
I just end it
