Heaven must Fall

A demon, he lives
In a lake of festering hate

An angel, she resides
Upon a cloud, a castle of white

Anger he requires
To do the deeds he so desires

Hope she fills the world with
Overflowing love into our hearts

Causing harm is what makes
Him happy, it fills his thoughts

Secreting away with shadows
A sweet lovers’ tryst

Two beings, complete opposites
Yet a precarious balancing act

Upon the hope of her, hell shall rise
Yet under the weight of tragedy heaven shall fall

Spiraling toward the earth
They embrace, becoming one

Shaking free of all bonds, he finds
Love, just as they strike the soil

In the fire of passion, ashes consume
Floating through the air, ashes settle as stars
