Lord, you said the only way the world is gonna know us
Is by the love that we have one for another
But that's so hard Lord when there's so much prejudice in the church
So we're crying out to You
Break down the walls
Jesus, break down the walls
Lord forgive us for being prejudiced
I know I said that in the present tense
Cause at times I know we use the wrong measurements
Especially as Americans, for some reason I think I'm better than ucus of my heritage
But that's a view due to arrogance
We choosing our membership based on the hue and the reverent skin
So from the pews to the president, we struggle to love each other like the Jews and Samaritans
Can you hear the record spin? All around the world it's been the same song ever since
Genesis, at the Tower of Babel, when God came down hard with the gound and the gavel
And all the nations of the earth were divided and scattered
Across the globe, oh no now we locked in a pattern
Of these socio-cultural and these racial walls
Till you know the culture is calling on you to break the walls
Please, break down the walls
Heal your body, cause we're divided
Father please, break down the walls
Heal your body, cause we're divided
Break down the walls
Oh oh, we need you
It's like the movie Crash, it's a vicious cycle
Like aluminum cans, the hatred is recycled
Please remove the mask, we're praying for revival
And remove the glass, separating your disciples
Please grint repentance for all the class divisions
For being status-stripped based on the standard of living
Cause we've been superficial, so superficial
Choose our friendship on the basis of fashion and image
Lord, what kind of madness is this?
I'm looking at your body, it's like a caste system
But in Revelation chapter seven when we snap the picture
We see the king and every Christian, every lands forgiven
Every tribe, every tongue man is represented
And unified by the son and His plan of redemption
To reconcile the nations, the great and the small
So we lift our hands and give Him praise cause He's breaking the walls
Please, break down the walls
Heal your body cause we're divided
Father please, break down the walls
Heal your body, cause we're divided
Please, break down the walls
Heal your body cause we're divided
Father please, break down the walls
Heal your body, cause we're divided
Break down the walls
Oh oh, we need you
Reconcile us to one another Lord God
Help us to love one another Lord God
Help us to care for one another Lord God
Black Lord God, white Lord Jesus
Rap Lord God, rock Lord Jesus
Yeah
