When first we met it was Gladiola Time
Your soft beautiful eyes dimmed stars up in the skies
We laughed and we sang, it was Gladiola Time
‘Mid Love’s mystery of sweet surprise
I saw you shyly glance
You blushed and beamed full of romance
My heart sang with delight on that marvelous night
All thru the years “twill be gladiola time
For us wonderful sweetheart of mine
Hear the chime bells toll wonderful sweetheart
Gladiola time is here once again
Let’s go take a stroll wonderful sweetheart
Every path is leading to memory lane
I saw you shyly glance
You blushed and beamed full of romance
My heart sang with delight on that marvelous night
All thru the years “twill be gladiola time
For us wonderful sweetheart of mine
