Soft mossy greens came to life in the shade
A trail of loose stone cut a line through the glen
Nothing was named as if none had been made
Yet simply was there as it always has been
Large forms of brick with no windows or doors
Stunted my step to rise up from the mire
Then circling the edifice dazed in its lore
I'd no means of priming for what would transpire
A girl in a bath full of tears
I fell to my knees in its wonder
As everything else disappeared
I too felt the will to go under
The silence was heavy and deep
I was freed from the weight of my years
Out from a century of sleep
Came a girl in a bath full of tears
Long through the day, how I fumbled the fields
Living the miracle o'er in my head
I still see her now as my memory wields
Her soft painted beauty alone in my bed
A girl in a bath full of tears
I fell to my knees in its wonder
As everything else disappeared
I too felt the will to go under
The silence was heavy and deep
I was freed from the weight of my years
Out from a century of sleep
Came a girl in a bath full of tears
A girl in a bath full of tears
